Severity levels of hemophilia A

While severe hemophilia A is the most common, there are 3 forms: mild, moderate, and severe.1

What are the severity levels of hemophilia A?

The severity of your hemophilia A is determined by the amount of working factor VIII in your blood. But no matter the level, bleeding can and does vary. This means someone with mild hemophilia A can bleed as much (or more) as someone with severe hemophilia A.1
